“Mini Trucks, Major Upgrade”: Teton Village Rolls Out Pint-Sized Electric Couriers

Date:

TETON VILLAGE, WY — If you’ve recently wandered through Teton Village and wondered whether you accidentally walked onto the set of Honey, I Shrunk the FedEx Truck, you’re not wrong.

The Teton Village Association (TVA) just launched its brand-new E-Delivery Program, and it’s swapping out the usual rumbling diesel rigs for tiny, whisper-quiet electric carts zipping around like eco-friendly golf carts on a mission.

In partnership with 106West Logistics, the TVA has decided that maybe, just maybe, 18-wheelers barreling through the Village core aren’t quite the “mountain charm” vibe we’re going for. Instead, the new “Village Couriers” pick up goods from a centralized dock in the TVA Maintenance Yard (east of the Ranch Lot, for the locals keeping score), then quietly roll out to deliver food, drinks, and other supplies to Village businesses.

Teton Village E-Delivery Program

It’s part sustainability, part sanity. No more diesel fumes clouding your après-ski margarita. No more trucks idling in front of the Mangy Moose. Just clean air, smooth deliveries, and the occasional near-miss with a latte-clutching pedestrian who didn’t hear the new carts coming.

“This pilot is one of the most exciting innovations we’ve introduced in years,” said Meghan Quinn, TVA’s Executive Director. “We’re proving that sustainability and guest experience go hand in hand.”

And she’s right, fewer trucks mean fewer traffic jams on Granite Loop Road and McCollister Drive, and fewer excuses for showing up late to your ski lesson.

The TVA will officially cut the ribbon on Thursday, December 4th at noon at the delivery dock in the maintenance yard. Yes, there’s lunch, because no Jackson event worth its weight in compostable forks happens without free food.

So, next time you spot one of these little electric carts cruising by, give a nod. It’s not a toy. It’s the future of logistics, Jackson Hole style.
