Jackson’s May Music Scene: Buffalo Speedway and Layne Bowen Band at the Cowboy Bar

Jackson Hole is in for a musical face-off you won’t want to miss. From May 15 to 22, the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar will transform into a sonic showdown between two crowd-pleasing powerhouses: Buffalo Speedway and the Layne Bowen Band. Expect boots stomping, whiskey flowing, and dance floors shaking all week long.

Live: May 15–17

Kicking things off with a bang, Buffalo Speedway brings their high-octane fusion of blues, rock, and country straight from North Idaho. With gritty vocals, relentless energy, and a stage presence that demands attention, these guys aren’t just playing music, they’re throwing a party.

🎶 Layne Bowen Band

Live: May 19–22

After a one-day break on May 18 (hydrate, y’all), the Layne Bowen Band steps in to keep the good times rolling. While they like to play it cool online, the band has said they’re “super excited to be playing with the band for 4 nights at Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson Hole, WY.” We’ll take that as a promise of four nights of boot-stompin’ fun.

If you’ve never been, you’re in for a treat. With saddle bar stools, taxidermy for days, and a dance floor ready to rock, the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is as Jackson Hole as it gets. Live music starts nightly at 8:30 PM. Get there early, grab a drink, and find your dancing boots.
