From May 16–26, 2025, Jackson Hole transforms into festival central with the annual Old West Days offering something for everyone: Gourmet bites, quirky competitions, live music, and of course, antler auctions.
Think of it as your ten-day excuse to explore downtown Jackson and Teton Village under a banner of community, creativity, and good old-fashioned fun.
Start your engines (or appetite) at Restaurant Week, where over 30 local eateries roll out prix-fixe menus and chef specials you won’t want to miss. Pause mid-week for a stroll through the Mountain Man Rendezvous at the fairgrounds, where artisans demo leatherworking and axe-throwing (yes, really), and maybe pick up a hand-crafted keepsake.
Weekend one ramps up on May 17 with the world-famous ElkFest Antler Auction. Browse, bid, or simply marvel at nature’s spectacular sheds. May 18 brings the High Noon Chili Cook-off (town square gets spicy) and the Ultimate Towner Obstacle Course (think friendly chaos on Jackson’s streets).
Keep the momentum going with live tunes at the Million Dollar Music Fest (May 23–25), followed by the Best of the West Parade down Broadway Ave on May 24, and cap it all off that evening with the Jackson Hole Rodeo Season Opener. Before you head home, join the Memorial Day ceremonies on May 26 to honor our veterans and community spirit
