In a refreshing mix of wellness and community spirit, Trio An American Bistro and Local Restaurant & Bar are teaming up with Teton Behavior Therapy to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month, one mocktail at a time.
A Full-Circle Collaboration
At the heart of this initiative is Jennifer Bradof, co-owner of both restaurants and the founder of Teton Behavior Therapy, which she launched 13 years ago. The partnership is not a marketing play, it’s personal.
“While I help run Trio and Local with my husband, Will Bradof, I’m also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Over the years, our worlds—mental health and hospitality—have naturally intertwined,” Bradof said.
That connection is more than symbolic. Restaurant workers often deal with long hours, emotional exhaustion, and limited access to mental health support. Through this partnership, employees at Trio and Local are eligible for six free therapy sessions, reinforcing that mental wellness belongs on the menu right alongside the entrées.
What’s on Tap (Without the Tap)
This Mocktail Monday (Monday, May 26), diners will enjoy:
- 1 free mocktail per person
- 20% off their entire bill 👀 👀 👀

The mocktail lineup includes NA versions of Spicy Margaritas, Palomas, and even Aperol Spritzes, served with just as much style, minus the alcohol. Both Local and Trio have built year-round menus that cater to the sober and sober-curious crowd, featuring NA beers, sparkling wines, and handcrafted mocktails.
Why Mental Health and Hospitality Make Sense Together
“Both fields are about showing up for people, creating safe spaces, and fostering connection,” Bradof explained. “Offering wellness through dining might sound novel, but to us, it’s simply about extending care to the people who make our town run.”
Each May, both restaurants include a Mental Health Awareness pamphlet with every check, quietly starting conversations that matter.
A Trend with Staying Power
When asked about the growing shift away from alcohol, particularly among younger guests, Bradof didn’t hesitate: “Absolutely! We’ve seen a clear increase in requests for non-alcoholic options. Whether someone is sober, sober-curious, or just taking a night off, we want everyone to feel welcome.”
Could Mocktail Monday Become a Staple?
“We already offer a thoughtful selection of non-alcoholic options year-round,” said Bradof. “But if this event helps more people feel included and seen, we’d love to do more like it.”
