In Jackson Hole, adventure is everywhere, and sometimes, so is exhaustion. Whether you’re conquering Teton trails, chasing kids on the slopes, or just feeling the effects of high altitude, there’s one woman who can bring the boost directly to you: Katie Arehart, RN, BSN, the friendly face with SALT Hydration & Wellness’s mobile IV therapy.
We sat down with Katie to talk wellness myths, favorite treatments, and what it’s really like delivering hydration and health across our mountain town.
How did you first get into mobile IV therapy, and what drew you to this work?
I’ve always been passionate about my own health and wellness. Once I discovered IV therapy and experienced firsthand how much it improved my energy, recovery, and overall well-being, I was hooked. I love meeting people where they are, literally, and helping them feel their best without the hassle of going to a clinic.
What’s the most requested IV treatment in Jackson Hole?
Our Boost IV with NAD+ is definitely the crowd favorite.
What’s the biggest misconception about IV therapy?
A lot of people think IVs are only for hangovers or when you’re sick. While they absolutely help in those situations, they also support energy, immunity, recovery, hormone balance, and overall wellness goals.
Another myth? That mobile IV therapy is somehow “less medical” than going to a clinic. In reality, I provide the same level of care you’d expect in a medical facility, just in the comfort of your home, hotel, or office.
Your personal go-to drip?
The Boost IV with amino blend and NAD+. The Boost fuels my energy, immunity, and muscle recovery, while NAD+ helps reduce inflammation and keeps me feeling sharp, strong, and recharged.
Have you ever had to hike, snowshoe, or off-road to reach a client?
Not yet, but I’m up for the challenge! If someone needed me halfway up a trail or on the ski hill, I’d pack my supplies and head out. That’s one of the best parts of being a mobile IV nurse, meeting people wherever they are.
Favorite season in Jackson?
Summer, hands down. I love skiing in the winter, but I’ll take a sunny summer drive over snow-covered roads any day.
Summer clients are usually fueling up for big adventures or recovering from the heat. Winter keeps me busy boosting immunity, helping people bounce back from cold and flu, and keeping skiers in top form. There’s no “slow season” here, just different rhythms.
What’s next for you and SALT Hydration?
We’re always adding new ways to help clients feel their best. Keep an eye out for something new to “sip” and expanded peptide offerings coming soon.
