If you’ve ever wanted to look Mayor Arne Jorgensen in the eye and explain why your favorite pothole is now a registered historical landmark, tomorrow (Feb. 18) is your big chance.
The annual “State of the Town” is ditching the long, “sit-there-and-listen” speeches for a new, interactive Open House format. It’s casual, it’s collaborative, and it’s happening at the Teton County Library from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM this Wednesday, February 18.
The Details:
- What: A chance to learn, share input, and engage with the Mayor and Town staff without having to wait for a formal public comment period.
- Where: Teton County Library – 125 Virginian Ln, Jackson, WY 83001
- When: Wednesday, Feb 18 | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.
The Weather Warning
Because Mother Nature clearly has a sense of humor, she’s scheduled some “interactive” participation of her own. While you’re inside discussing the future of Jackson, the sky will be busy delivering snow showers all day tomorrow.
We’re looking at a chance for a few inches of snow during the day, so maybe leave the loafers at home and embrace the Teton formal attire (Sorel boots and a puffy jacket).
