Jackson Hole Airport Traffic Report: March Saw Steady Growth, Landings Surge

Date:

Jackson Hole Airport saw steady growth in passenger traffic for March 2025 compared to the same period last year, reflecting ongoing demand for visits to the region.

Key highlights include:

Year-to-date figures show a similar trend:

  • Enplaned Passengers increased by 1.52% year-to-date, with a cumulative total of 147,787 compared to 145,580 at this point last year.
  • Deplaned Passengers experienced a minor decrease of 0.31%, totaling 134,928 compared to 135,349 the previous year.
  • Aircraft Landings experienced robust growth year-to-date, rising by 9.16% with 1,728 landings compared to 1,583 in the previous year.

However, looking ahead, we anticipate potential declines in the May passenger numbers due to ongoing operational issues at Newark Airport, a primary hub for United Airlines flights to Jackson Hole. These disruptions could temporarily impact passenger volumes on routes from Newark.

Stay tuned for future updates on how this may affect upcoming summer travel statistics.
