Clear your calendar for Thursday, June 26, and head to the Jackson Hole History Museum for an evening of storytelling, sipping, and small-town medical lore.
Beers & Banter: Healthcare & Hospital History kicks off at 6 p.m. (doors open at 5:30), featuring a lively panel of longtime local healthcare pros swapping stories from the ER, clinic, and beyond. Whether you’ve lived in Jackson your whole life or just Googled “altitude sickness” last week, this is your chance to hear how medicine in the Tetons has evolved—from house calls to heli-lifts.
Panelists include:
Judy Basye, Betty Anne Ely, Larry Van Genderen, Jim Little Sr., Jayne Ottman, Rich Sugden… and a few surprise guests. Moderated by Anna Olson and Morgan Jaouen.
Thanks to event sponsors Jackson Hole Winery, KHOL 89.1 FM, and Roadhouse Brewing Co., beverages (including non-alcoholic) will be available for a suggested donation.
Admission is free, but seating is limited, so arrive early if you want a chair and a cold one.
