Jackson Hole Food & Wine is back with another round of its winter masterpiece, Winter Fest 2026, a three-day parade of world-class chefs, rare spirits, big wines, bigger views, and the kind of après-ski energy that makes locals suddenly remember why we “tolerate” February.
The festival runs February 26–28, 2026, and tickets are available now. This one sells out faster than Powder 8 spots on a bluebird morning.
What’s Cooking (and Pouring)
This year marks Winter Fest’s 10th anniversary, so JHFW is going big and pouring even bigger.
Thursday, February 26
• Lost Whiskey Spirits Tasting — Four Seasons Ballroom
A deep dive into rare and exceptional pours, perfect for the person in your life who says they can “definitely taste the difference.”
• Big Wines, Small Plates — The Cloudveil (Lupine Room)
A chef-driven dinner that pairs bold wines with creative small plates. Basically, a fancy feast for adults.
Friday, February 27
• Pinot Noir: Same Grape, Different Place
A guided tasting comparing Pinot Noirs from around the world. Blind tasting optional… bragging rights mandatory.
• Wine Dinner @ 9,000 ft — Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
Ride the gondola into the night and enjoy a multi-course dinner high above the valley. Romantic? Yes. Cold? Also, yes — bring a jacket unless you’re auditioning for “The Revenant 2.”
Saturday, February 28
• Winter Grand Tasting
The big finale! Walk-around tastings featuring premium wines, spirits, craft beer, gourmet bites, and a DJ. Picture the best house party you’ve ever been to… if the house was full of chefs, sommeliers, and people who know what “mouthfeel” means.
Festival Tips (From People Who Actually Live Here)
• Layer up. That 9,000-ft dinner doesn’t care how good your outfit is.
• Plan transportation. The FAQ reminds you to arrange sober rides, so we will too.
• Dietary notes: To allow our participating chefs full creativity, dinners do not cater to those with strict dietary restrictions or allergies. If you have any questions, please email haynes@jhfoodandwine.com.
• Lodging: Teton Village books quickly when foodies descend. Get ahead of it.
• 21+ only. No kids, no dogs, no exceptions, and honestly, thank goodness.
Why Winter Fest Matters
Sure, Winter Fest is an elite culinary experience perched inside one of the most beautiful winter destinations on Earth. But it also supports local nonprofits (including Hole Food Rescue), highlights Jackson’s homegrown talent, and draws visitors during a season when most of us are debating whether we should shovel again or just pretend the walkway is “rustic.”
It’s good for the valley, good for the palate, and very good for the Instagram grid.
