If you have wandered past the antler arches this week and thought, “Why are there elves loitering near the Stage Stop cabin?” do not worry, Jackson has not launched a municipal toy-making initiative. It is just the Chamber of Commerce rolling out its annual Shop Local Holiday Weekends, complete with cookies, cocoa, and a not-so-subtle nudge to keep your holiday dollars in Teton County.
And frankly, with 74% of Teton County’s workforce employed by small businesses, your gifts might as well come with a side of economic patriotism.
Thanks to sponsors PirateShip.com and Jedediah’s Catering and Concessions, the Town Square will be fully stocked with free treats from 1 to 4 p.m. on the following dates:
Dates:
11/29/2025
11/30/2025
12/6/2025
12/7/2025
12/13/2025
12/14/2025
12/20/2025
Expect steaming hot cocoa, Jedediah’s legendary holiday cookies, and a squad of cheerful Chamber elves ready to offer gift advice, shopping tips, and probably unsolicited encouragement to support local.
The Chamber’s Winter Windfall incentive program is back, offering five $1,000 shopping sprees to lucky locals who shop at any of the 35 participating businesses between November 28 and December 22.
Entering is very simple:
Every purchase equals one entry. No limit on how many times you can enter. Holiday gift procrastinators, this is your Super Bowl.
Starting December 13, Santa will be posted up at the Stage Stop cabin, ready to hear kids’ wish lists or politely ignore adults asking for a Sprinter van.

If you were looking for a sign to shop local this holiday season, this is it. Plus, free cookies. Honestly, what more do you need?
