Spooky Season in Jackson: Town Square Treats and Glorietta Beats

Date:

It’s that kooky time again when downtown Jackson morphs into a candy-coated circus of superheroes, princesses, and at least one dad dressed as a Teton elk for the third straight year. The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce will once again host its Halloween on Town Square celebration from 3:30–6:00 p.m., where costumed kids (and parents pretending it’s for the kids) descend for safe trick-or-treating, trunk-or-treating, and the annual costume contests.

Expect adorable chaos as local businesses hand out candy, and creatively decorated cars line Center Street for the Trunk-or-Treat.

And don’t forget the Costume Contests for kids, families, and pets, because nothing says Jackson like a Labradoodle dressed as a trout holding a tiny fly rod.

The Grown-Up Afterparty: Glorietta’s Halloween Bash

Once the little goblins are in bed (or buzzing on sugar), swap the candy corn for a cocktail at Glorietta Trattoria’s Halloween Night Party from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Expect:

  • Light snacks 🍝 (because no one wants to dance on an empty stomach)
  • Funky tunes 🎶 from DJ Chuck Samples and DJ Crayon
  • Wicked fun 🍷 and maybe a ghost or two who prefer their sheets with a side of Chianti

Tickets:

  • $20 presale
  • $30 at the door

Bring your best costume, your thirst, and maybe a designated driver. This one’s less “family-friendly” and more “why did I think tequila in a vampire cape was a good idea?”

Halloween Costume Crawl

Two Bars. Two Bands. Too Much Fun.

Dig out that costume you swore you’d “never wear again,” and prepare to stagger stylishly between Jackson’s most haunted watering holes. The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and Silver Dollar Bar are teaming up for one gloriously spooky night of bad decisions, great music, and questionable dance moves.

Two bars, two bands, and about twelve too many Jell-O shots. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the one night a year when it’s totally acceptable to blame your hangover on the undead. 🎃

Costumes encouraged. Dignity optional. Transportation by broomstick, Uber, or your friend who “swears they’re fine to drive” (they’re not).
