JACKSON, WY — On Sunday, June 8th, The Wort Hotel will host a special Jackson-only screening of October 8, a highly acclaimed documentary examining the events and aftermath of the October 7 Hamas attacks in Israel and the broader human and geopolitical consequences that followed. The screening begins at 6:00 PM at 50 N Glenwood St.

Organized by a coalition of local organizations, including Chabad Jewish Center of Jackson Hole, Jackson Hole Jewish Community, The Tribe, and Community Center for the Arts, this event aims to provide both context and conversation around one of the most urgent and painful flashpoints of the last two years.
Following the film, attendees will be invited to participate in a moderated community discussion to reflect on the film’s themes and explore the questions it raises locally, globally, and humanely.

A Space for Civil Conversation
This event is open to the public. Organizers emphasize that voices from all backgrounds are encouraged to attend and engage thoughtfully. With ongoing conflict abroad and polarized discourse at home, this is an opportunity to listen, learn, and speak with care.
