BTNF just announced on their Facebook page that they are aware of five new fires in the area after some serious lightning strikes this morning.
1. Philips ridge fire near Wilson, WY – 1/0 acre Engine on scene.
2. Wolf Mountain in Snake River Canyon named the Wilson Face fire – 1/10 acre, firefighters on scene.
3. Crystal Peak area near the Gros Ventre Wilderness – size and name to be determined. Resources en route.
4. Hoback Canyon area we have the Buck Creek Fire located off the south face of Beaver Mountain.
5. Bobcat Fire – Teton Wilderness Area – resources en route. Size TBD
