Thursday, July 24 | 6–7:30 p.m. | Jackson Hole History Museum (Deck)
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Pull up a chair, crack open a cold one, and toast to 100 years of the Chapel of the Transfiguration!
Another chapter of the Jackson Hole History Museum’s beloved Beers & Banter series is set for a special evening celebrating a century of this iconic chapel, nestled in Grand Teton National Park. Expect local voices, lively storytelling, and a panel discussion that blends history, community, and a few good laughs, all out on the museum’s scenic deck.
This local history happy hour will feature guest panelists including David Dornan, Ruth Huyler Glass, Bruce Hawtin, Mike Wardell, Katherine Wonson, and more. The panel will be moderated by Reverand Jimmy Bartz and followed by a Q&A.
If it’s anything like the last Beers & Banter my wife and I attended (which covered the history of health care in Jackson, surprisingly entertaining!), then trust me, you’re in for a treat. That night was packed, the stories were heartfelt, and the vibe was pure Old Jackson.
Don’t miss this one. History, beer, and a sunset backdrop? Count us in.
