Marcus King Band & Cecilia Castleman to Rock Snow King on August 17

Date:

The Snow King Summer Concert Series continues to bring the heat. Next up: The Marcus King Band and rising star Cecilia Castleman on Saturday, August 17, 2025.

🎸 Marcus King Band
Marcus King doesn’t just sing the blues, he lives them. A fourth-generation musician from South Carolina, King’s music is steeped in soul, soaked in southern grit, and shaped by years of personal battles with heartbreak, addiction, and mental health. With the help of producer Dan Auerbach, his debut solo album El Dorado earned a GRAMMY® nomination, and his latest release Mood Swings, produced by none other than Rick Rubin, is raw, real, and redemptive. Expect powerful vocals, blistering guitar licks (don’t worry, they’re still in there), and a voice that somehow captures pain and hope in the same breath.

🎤 Cecilia Castleman
Opening the show is Nashville-based singer-songwriter Cecilia Castleman, whose haunting vocals and introspective lyrics have drawn comparisons to the greats, Fleetwood Mac, Bonnie Raitt, even Brian Wilson. Castleman’s 2025 self-titled debut album, produced by Don Was, is equal parts heartfelt journal and folk-pop triumph. She’s already opened for Hozier, Sheryl Crow, Ashley McBryde, and now she’s returning to the stage with Marcus King, following their 2024 tour pairing. If you haven’t heard her name yet, now’s the time.
