Aaron Davis Brings Solo Americana Magic to the Mangy Moose

Date:

Wyoming’s own Americana troubadour, Aaron Davis, will take the stage at the Mangy Moose Saloon for numerous nights throughout June, July, and August, bringing his genre-bending, roots-rich sound to Teton Village.

📍 Mangy Moose Saloon
🕕 6:00 PM
📅 June 26, July 3, July 18, July 31, Aug. 14 & 16, 2025

Dubbed “an essential force in the Americana roots music scene in Wyoming” by KHOL 89.1FM, Davis delivers a sonic tapestry that weaves slide blues, folk, alt-country, Western swing, and gypsy grass into something uniquely his own.

His solo performances blend intricate instrumentation, acoustic, resonator, and lap steel guitars, open back banjo, harmonica, and even cigar box percussion, with a poetic lyrical style and vivid storytelling.

A Kentucky native turned Jackson Hole mainstay, Davis is best known as co-founder of Screen Door Porch and producer/engineer at Hoback’s Three Hearted Recording Studio. He’s toured the country, shared bills with legends like Wilco, Willie Nelson, and Jason Isbell, and earned a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship recognizing his twelve-album discography and “truly phenomenal songwriting.”

These solo shows are a rare treat, stripped-down, immersive, and intimate. Expect groove, grit, and soul, served with a storyteller’s charm.
