Teton Village is doing something never before seen in the wild: hosting a 10-day “Locals Week” from Dec. 5–14 with:
- Free events
- Hotel deals
- Restaurant discounts,
- Gear savings
- And enough après-ski cocktails to thaw even the iciest Jackson resident.
It’s the first time the Teton Village Association has rolled out the red carpet for locals, which honestly feels like a historic moment. Someone alert the Jackson Hole Historical Society.
What’s Actually Happening? A Lot
Friday, Dec. 12 – Ullrfest at Teton Mountain Lodge
- Après ski at The Spur
- Cocktails, drink deals, live music, giveaways
- Basically, it’s the seasonal ritual of summoning snow… Jackson-style
(Bring layers. And maybe a sacrifice. Ullr’s standards have been high lately.)
Plus, that same night:
- Hotel deals across the Village
- The Teton County Library Foundation’s annual benefit at the Four Seasons
- A disco after-party at Corsa (Caldera House) from 10 p.m. to midnight
Because nothing says “support literacy” like sequins and late-night espresso martinis.
Saturday, Dec. 13 – Kids’ Fair + Indoor Farmers Market
- Kids’ Fair on the Village Common: Noon–4 p.m.
(Face painting, pop-ups, and guaranteed sugar highs.) - Jackson Hole Farmers Market at Hotel Terra: 3–6 p.m.
Perfect for grabbing holiday gifts that say, “Yes, I support local agriculture… occasionally.”
🎄 Sunday, Dec. 14 – The Big One: Free Block Party 🎄
Noon–6 p.m. at Hotel Terra
Featuring:
- Live music
- Food and drinks
- A gift market
- Kids’ ornament decorating
- Free babysitting all day
Read that again: Free babysitting.
This alone might make Locals Week a national holiday.
If you’ve ever said, “We never go to Teton Village unless someone’s visiting,” this is your moment.
– The deals are real.
– The events are stacked.
– The babysitting is free.
– And the locals-only love is surprisingly heartfelt.
See you out there, we’ll be the ones at Ullrfest trying to bribe Ullr for a bigger snow season.
