Beth and Rip Are Back: Yellowstone Spin-Off, “Dutton Ranch” Coming This Fall

Date:

Just when you thought the Duttons had ridden off into the Montana sunset, hold onto your cowboy hats, Beth and Rip are saddling up for another round. According to Bloomberg (and some Instagram breadcrumbs), Paramount is wrangling up a new spin-off series starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, tentatively titled Dutton Ranch. Yes, that Beth and that Rip.

While Yellowstone may have closed its gates after Season 5, nobody really believed Kevin Costner’s exit spelled the end of the drama, the power plays, or the perfectly timed one-liners. In true Western fashion, this story has more lives than a grizzly in a fish hatchery.

The new show is expected to drop this fall on Paramount+, though the plot remains hush-hush. Last we saw, Kayce (Luke Grimes) helped Beth and Rip save the ranch by selling it to Thomas Rainwater (weird flex, but okay), then Beth and Rip headed toward a quieter life near Dillon, Montana. Sounds peaceful… but probably won’t be.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering, Paramount hasn’t made it official yet, but both Reilly and Hauser have all but confirmed it. Kelly Reilly replied “true 🤍” to a fan on Instagram, and Hauser told People magazine that “America has spoken and they still love the show.” Hard to argue with the voice of America or Beth Dutton.

Meanwhile, Sheridan’s spin-off machine isn’t slowing down. A Kayce-led series is in the works for CBS (coming in 2026), and other spin-offs like The Madison and 1944 are already filming.

So grab your bourbon, fire up the wood stove, and prepare for another wild ride. Looks like Rip and Beth are coming back to stir up the West, just the way we like it.
