Saturday, April 4th: The Great Town Square Egg Hunt
Kick off the weekend with a Jackson Hole classic. The annual Easter Egg Hunt on Town Square returns on Saturday morning.
- Time: 10:00 AM SHARP (Don’t be late, the eggs disappear in minutes!)
- Ages: 1–12
- Highlight: Keep an eye out for Peter Rabbit and his friends, who usually make a grand appearance on a fire truck or stagecoach to greet the kids under the elk antler arches.
Sunday, April 5th: Easter on the Mountain
For many, Easter in Jackson Hole is best celebrated at altitude.
1. Easter Sunrise Service
Start your Easter Sunday with a breathtaking view of the valley.
- Time: 6:30 AM (Gondola loading starts at 6:00 AM)
- Location: Top of the Bridger Gondola at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR).
- Details: The ride is free for the service. Dress warmly, as it’s often chilly at 9,000 feet! Please note that ski gear is not allowed on the gondola for this service.
2. Worship on the Mountain
If you prefer a later start, JHMR hosts an interdenominational service at the Rendezvous Lodge.
- Time: 9:30 AM
- Details: Complimentary gondola tickets are typically available for those attending the service without ski gear.
3. Easter Shred & DJ Sets
Celebrate “Goggle Tan Season” with some spring skiing. After your morning runs, head to the base or mid-mountain for live music:
- Casper Beach: Catch a live DJ set from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM to soak up the sun.
- Tram Dock Après: Close out the day with DJ Will G at the Tram Dock from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
Easter Brunch & Dining
No Easter is complete without a celebratory feast. Jackson’s culinary scene pulls out all the stops for 2026:
🌸 My top recommendation is brunch at the Wild Sage (Rusty Parrot Lodge):
The Wild Sage 175 N. Jackson St. (307-733-2000)
- The Wort Hotel: The Silver Dollar Bar & Grill is hosting its famous Easter Brunch from 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Expect a mix of traditional brunch favorites and their signature local flair. (Seating is first-come, first-served).
- The Bistro: Located next to the Cloudveil, The Bistro will offer Easter specials alongside their winter menu. Their tableside mimosa cart is a holiday must-try!
- Piste Mountain Bistro: For a sophisticated evening, enjoy dinner at the top of the gondola with live music by Joe Hunt from 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM.
Quick-Tips for Easter 2026:
- Book Early: Easter falls during a popular spring break window. If you want a table at The Bistro or Piste, make your reservations now.
- Check the Weather: April in Jackson can mean “mashed potato” snow or a surprise spring powder day. Layers are your best friend!
- Free Transport: Use the START Bus to get between Teton Village and Town Square to avoid holiday parking crowds.
Happy Easter!
