Winter Tram Sightseeing Returns – Your Annual Reminder That Jackson Hole Is Absurdly Gorgeous

Date:

If you’ve been waiting for the moment to take that iconic “look at my life choices” selfie from 10,450 feet, good news, winter tram sightseeing rides are back at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

For a handful of dates only, you can snag online tickets to ride the Aerial Tram straight into the clouds:

Online purchase dates:
Nov. 28–30
Dec. 5–7

After that? You’ll have to buy in person at Guest Services, assuming the weather cooperates… which, as we all know, is asking a LOT from early winter in Jackson.

Why You Should Go (besides bragging rights):

  • 360-degree views of the Tetons, the valley, and mountains that make out-of-towners whisper “wait… people live here?”
  • Corbet’s Cabin waffles — the most delicious, high-altitude justification for carbs you’ll have all week
  • A glorious 12-minute ride from base to summit that makes you forget you still haven’t winterized your car

Important Details:

  • First tram up: 10:00 a.m., running every 15 minutes until 3:00 p.m.
  • Last tram down: 3:30 p.m.
  • Dress like you’re stepping into a wind tunnel sponsored by a freezer as weather at the summit can be spicy
  • No skis or boards allowed – this one’s for sightseeing only, powder hounds

If your holiday guests need an activity that keeps them busy and quiet for an hour, this is the move.

Now go enjoy the views and the waffles. Always the waffles.
