SNL Might Owe Jackson a Drink After Recent Cowboy Bar Skit

Pretty sure the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar didn’t sign off on this one… their famous façade popped up fast on SNL this weekend, right before things got weird. Watch for yourself:

The skit opens at a bachelorette party inside the Cowboy Bar. Two of the women, Kayla and Delulah, drunkenly climb onto the mechanical bull together. Despite being warned not to, the bull’s operator, Andre, decides to start it. He accidentally puts it on the “Bon Voyage” setting, which launches the two women and the bull out of the bar.

A country song then narrates their absurd journey across the country and through time. As they ride the runaway bull, they:

Eat bugs, with one swallowing bees and then a bird.
Visit Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon, and see Usher at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
Eat cheese in Wisconsin and get slapped by a fish at Niagara Falls.
Get identified as “narco bogeys” by the U.S. military, which fires missiles at them.
Travel back in time, where they meet Galileo and tell him the Earth revolves around the sun, which gets him arrested.
Visit a “liminal space” and communicate with a fifth-dimensional race.

The song’s ridiculous chorus grows with each new event, eventually recapping their entire journey, which now includes “Galileo Galilei and the military” alongside the “bird and the bees and a big block of cheese”.
