Denim Returns: Ski in Jeans Day Set for December 5 at Jackson Hole

Date:

Break out the Wrangler jacket and those trusty Levi’s, Ski in Jeans Day is officially back at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on Friday, December 5, marking the third annual denim takeover of the slopes.

Last year, more than 3,300 skiers and riders hit the mountain in full Canadian tuxedo fashion, setting the record for the world’s largest denim ski day. This year, organizers are aiming even higher and giving locals plenty of reason to join in.

The deals are wild:
🎿 $35 single-day lift tickets
🧊 $199 for a three-day weekend package
👖 50% off rentals (as long as you’re wearing jeans)

After the lifts stop spinning, the party keeps going with après events in Teton Village, giveaways, and a few photo ops guaranteed to end up in next season’s pass campaign.

The event is part of JHMR’s “Destination December” and 60th Anniversary celebrations — a month-long salute to early-season skiing, local style, and the fact that Jackson folks will use any excuse to make denim a sport.

So whether you’re rocking vintage Levi’s or a pair of Carhartts that have seen better days, polish those boots and make history again.
